About Craig
While living on the island of Maui, Hawai'i for over 40 years photographing its beauty, he produced six VHS and DVDs of the extraordinary sights of the Hawaiian Islands and French Polynesia. During this time, he also produced the first narrated tour on cassette tape of Maui's famous scenic Road to Hana (later to become CD and app).
Years later, he published the first-ever Hawaiian culture magazine. Named Na Poe Hawai'i (The People of Hawai'i), the magazine consisted of cultural articles written by recognized Hawaiian authorities and writers, and distributed to major hotels. Two of his Hawaiian cultural advisors were Keali'i Reichel and Lyons Kapi'ihoho Naone, two of Hawai'i's most respected cultural leaders.
Soon after, he published the largest distributed publication in Hawai'i. Noticing visitors were always looking for a map (this was well before Google Maps), and seeing most available were not very accurate or detailed, he set about researching the island. Once printed, the Maui Driving Map quickly became extensively available on the island.
Recently retired, he has moved to the U.S. Southwest where he is continuing his photography, but of significantly different subject matter. Missing the striking beauty of the Hawaiian Islands, he has found that he can remain close to it by offering his most popular photographs on this website. His Southwest images are currently being taken.

Craig could always be found near the ocean.
